BWI of Portland

Welcome to our library website. Here you will find all of the carriers in the two libraries of Babywearing International of Portland. Click on Inventory in the menu above to view all of the baby carriers in our lending libraries. The carriers in each library can be searched individually using the drop down menu on the next page.

BWI of Portland currently holds two educational meetings a month which are always free and open to the public. You do not have to be a paid member of our group to come to the meetings and get help. We welcome anyone and everyone to our meetings. They are a family-friendly event; babies, toddlers, parents, grandparents, other caregivers, and everyone in-between are invited to join us!

It does not cost anything to attend a meeting or try anything in our library at meetings. Membership ($30/year) grants you access to the lending library. You're able to check out a carrier at a meeting for the month; carriers are due back at the next month's meeting. Click on the link for a full list of our Lending Library Policies.

If you're interested in becoming a member, you can join at any of our meetings. You can create a MyTurn account by clicking "Create Account" at the top right corner of the screen. For payment of membership and fees, we accept payment in cash, check or PayPal ( paypal.me/BWIPortland )

All official BWI events will be listed on the calendar on our website, our public page and shared to the Facebook group.

Babywearing International, Inc. (BWI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver, through education and support. Babywearing International of Portland is a local chapter of BWI supporting Portland, OR and surrounding areas.
